Grapes harvested at 24 °B to 24.5 °B
Vinification:
Fermentation initiated in open top fermentors and underwent a series of punch downs and pump over's until dry. Further maceration allowed before drawing off and light pressing.
Maturation:
This wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels of which 30% was new. Balance 2nd and 3rd fill barrels.

Alcohol 14.5%, TA 5.5 g/litre, pH 3.73, RS 2.8 g/litre
Tasting Notes:
Deep plum red with succulent berry aromas underlined by subtle cedar, mocha and dark chocolate flavours.
Seductive finish with beautiful silky tannin integration and elegant depth.
